Dear friends, important news for you!

Dear friends!
All this time, we’ve been monitoring the changes in the epidemiological situation in Sochi and Krasnodar Krai. The health and life of our artists and audiences are very important to us.
Unfortunately, we have to acknowledge that the situation in Krasnodar Krai remains very difficult.
For this reason, we have decided to postpone the MagnoliArts Festival until 2022. The dates will be announced later. We believe that medical professionals, who have been fighting this virus for the second year in a row, will finally overcome it. For our part, we will try to keep all the best events from this year’s program and on top of that we’ll add bright new names, new concerts and performances to next year’s playbill.
All applications sent by young opera singers to participate in the festival will be valid next year.
It’s such a joy to see how many wonderful, young, talented artists there are! We had a great pleasure watching your videos. And it will not be a spoiler to say that we are already seeing the light of fantastic new opera stars!

In August, we are expecting a wonderful event: F.E.S. Foundation sets its first MagnoliArts Festival. It will be held in Sochi from August 19 to 22, 2021.

Alexey Aslanov, conductor of Mariinsky Theatre and artistic director of the Sochi Symphony Orchestra, will be the artistic director of the festival.

August 19 and 20 – «Ilse Liepa. Russian Ballet»

On the stage of the Festival Concert Hall, a unique evening will take place with the participation of ballerina, theatre and movie actress, TV presenter, People’s Artist of Russia Ilse Liepa. The program features the Principal dancer of the Mariinsky Theatre, Honored Artist of Russia Igor Kolb, Principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre Mikhail Lobukhin, leading soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre, Honored Artists of Russia Anastasia Goryacheva and Andrey Bolotin, soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Kristina Shapran. The audience will be able to see both the parts from the repertoire of Maris Liepa, and the dances specially dedicated to him.

The priority task of F.E.S. Foundation is to support young talented performers, so the central event of the festival will be a large-scale educational program for young opera singers. To participate in the program, they will need to reach the final of the qualifying competition. The best performers will take part in a chamber concert at the A. F. Debolskaya Hall of organ and chamber music on August 21, and the winners of the competition will also take part in the Opera-Gala concert on August 22.

August 22 — «The Opera-Gala»

The stars of the opera will appear on the stage of the Festival Concert Hall, accompanied by the Sochi Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Alexey Aslanov:
